TYPOGRAPHY | Now I See

Have you ever been in your room at nighttime (with your light on) and then suddenly turned out your lights? I used to do that all the time when I was a little girl.

It just gives you a glimpse of what being blind is like.

Before I knew Christ as my personal Savior, I was blind. Blind to my sin, blind to His mercy, blind to my great need for Him.

And then He opened my eyes! He wiped the scales off my eyes that kept me from seeing His glory!

This verse from the oh-so-famous hymn has always struck a cord with me since I was little. Whenever I turn the lights back on, I'm always so thankful to be able to see! Even If you are physically blind today, don't lose sight of what He has done for you. He is so good, all the time!

Amazing grace! how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
