Hi. I'm Izzy. 

I feel so honored that you want to read about me! Well, here goes...

I have an incredible Savior; His name is Jesus. This blog is for Him. Because of Him, and in spite of my imperfections, I am a tree planted by the water of life. And because of that truth, what a great life I'm living!

I am a fence person. Not in values or convictions or politics, but pretty much everywhere else. My hair falls awkwardly somewhere between straight and curly, some days I wear contacts and some I wear glasses, I love both my cowgirl boots and my off-brand Converse sneakers. I can be described as an extrovert and an introvert, I have a love/hate relationship with driving, and some days my pizza's got everything on it; other days it's just cheese. Girly-girl that doesn't wear the color pink, but definitely NOT a tomboy. Determined that one of these days I'll marry a guy that's a mix between James Stewart and Sean Connery and George Müeller (he's gonna be that great!).

I'm also a visual person. Because of this, my attention is drawn to details and wonders in creation and the people around me. Photography, graphic design, and Pinterest are always in the back of my mind. Clean lines, meadows, old film cartridges, forehead kisses, white-washed walls, blue jeans, holding hands in the car, freckles, sunsets, daisies, and the color yellow are just some little things that make my heart skip a beat. Also coffee. Make me a medium roast with french vanilla creamer and I'll be your buddy forever. 

I suppose, being a visual person, I developed this blog as a way to illustrate some of my experiences. What experiences, you may ask? God gives us each a time on Earth to experience His creation, and its beauty and wonder and all those little things I mentioned above. But most importantly He gives us this time to experience Him. He's already brought me through so much, and I can't wait to see what else He has in store! As much as I can, I wish to share it with you, because He deserves praise for what He does in my life! Ergo, the blog.

I absolutely detest the way I write. That being said, God has given me this opportunity to give Him glory, so I mustn't squander it. I pray the content you find here is a reflection of Him, and all my vain words would be lost in this great sea we call The Internet. I pray the grammatical errors would go overlooked, the spelling subconsciously corrected, and the foreboding style would somehow appear eloquent (I believe He's that powerful!). ;)
